Team SAG Does Not Want to Search for a Replacement for Salom

Assen, MotoGP News - Team SAG Racing has confirmed that they will only be raced by one rider only after the incident that killed Luis Salom in Catalunya.

For the rest of this season will not be Racing SAG seeking replacement Salom and rely solely on teammate, Jesko Raffin for rest of 2016, starting with the MotoGP Assen this weekend.

"After we lost Salom, SAG Racing Team will continue to participate in the MotoGP World Championship in honor of Luis Salom," the team statement.

"Support is also demonstrated by the fans, drivers, teams, colleagues, friends and families from Salom so SAG team is very grateful to all those who have supported and we will give the race a tribute to the late Salom," said team SAG.
